Climate C1.3: Shows knowledge of students’ interests beyond the class
Practices
- Have a homework assignment at the beginning of the semester for students to introduce themselves (share information that they feel comfortable sharing)
- After you have some knowledge of your students’ interests (such as their career preferences, dream jobs, etc.), you can intentionally connect some course contents to things that your students are interested in
Activities
- Partner Questionnaire Activity (Details and instructions are included after the questionnaire)
- Meet-and-Greet activity:
- Part 1: Introduction slides. Instructions for use and an example are provided.
