Climate C1.3: Shows knowledge of students’ interests beyond the class

Have a homework assignment at the beginning of the semester for students to introduce themselves (share information that they feel comfortable to share)
After you have some knowledge of students’ interests such as their career preferences, dream jobs, you can intentionally connect some course contents with the things that the students are interested in. It is a good practice to engage the students and create a welcoming environment
