Vibrancy V2. Uses active learning to engage students

Unlike "traditional" modes of instruction where students are passive recipients of knowledge from an expert,  active learning comprises of various strategies that engage students actively in the learning process.  Active learning can take many forms and could be either individual or group activities centered around writing, talking/discussing, critical thinking, problem solving, or reflecting.

Observable Behaviors

V2.1: Addresses student questions and comments

V2.2: Provides group tasks that promoted knowledge construction in community and higher-level thinking

V2.3: Synthesizes group work at conclusion of collaborative activity

V2.4: Develops student learning through active participation in lesson activities
