Instructors should design learning activities to help students achieve the learning outcomes. Many studies found active learning helps to produce engaging and effective learning experiences for students. Here is a tool that you may find useful to help design active learning activities in your class. The tool shows examples of activities that embrace key elements of “how people learn”.
